\n\t\t\tOn March 30, 2026, at 19:00, the General Meeting of the LEPL \u201cTskhum-Abkhazian Academy of Sciences\u201d (hereinafter \u2013 the Academy) was held electronically via the Zoom platform<\/span>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The following issues were discussed at the General Meeting of the Academy:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Report of the President, Temur Chilachava<\/strong>, on the activities carried out during the period from March 2021 to March 30, 2026;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Election of the President;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Election of Vice-Presidents;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Election of Heads of Departments;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Election of the Scientific Secretary;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Election of members of the Academic Council.<\/span><\/p>\n

Academician Temur Chilachava was elected as the Chairperson of the General Meeting of the Academy (25 votes in favor, 0 against, 0 abstained).<\/span><\/p>\n

1.Academician Temur Chilachava presented a report on the activities carried out by the Academy during the period from March 2021 to March 30, 2026, which was positively evaluated;<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Members of the Academy, Ketevan Pavliashvili<\/strong> and Gia Kvashilava<\/strong>, nominated Academician Temur Chilachava for the position of President of the Academy, who was unanimously elected (25 votes in favor, 0 against, 0 abstained);<\/span><\/p>\n

3. The elected President of the Academy, Temur Chilachava<\/strong>, nominated Academician Temur Shengelia<\/strong> and Corresponding Member of the Academy Khatuna Amaghlobeli<\/strong> for the positions of Vice-Presidents, who were unanimously elected (25 votes in favor, 0 against, 0 abstained);<\/span><\/p>\n

4. The President of the Academy, Temur Chilachava<\/strong>, was unanimously elected as the Head of the Department of Fundamental and Natural Sciences<\/strong> (25 votes in favor, 0 against, 0 abstained);<\/span><\/p>\n

5. The Vice-President of the Academy, Temur Shengelia<\/strong>, was unanimously elected as the Head of the Department of Social Sciences<\/strong> (25 votes in favor, 0 against, 0 abstained);<\/span><\/p>\n

6. Corresponding Member of the Academy Eka Vardoshvili<\/strong> was unanimously elected as the Head of the Department of Language and Literature<\/strong> (25 votes in favor, 0 against, 0 abstained);<\/span><\/p>\n

7.The elected President of the Academy, Temur Chilachava<\/strong>, nominated Corresponding Member of the Academy George Pochkhua<\/strong> for the position of Scientific Secretary<\/strong>, who was unanimously elected (25 votes in favor, 0 against, 0 abstained);<\/span><\/p>\n

8. In accordance with the Charter of the Academy, the Academic Council of the Academy was unanimously elected (25 votes in favor, 0 against, 0 abstained) with the following composition of 11 members:<\/span><\/p>\n

March 31, 2021 the general meeting of the Academy of Sciences of Tskhum-Abkhazian was held<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The President of the Academy of Sciences of Tskhum-Abkhazian unanimously elected Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics of Sokhumi State University, full member of the Academies of Natural Sciences and Education of Georgia, professor Temur Chilachava<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
